Elk - Lake Cowichan
Prints from the Cerulean Collection by Heidi Goddard
The Elk painting was inspired by the view of Lake Cowichan from a lookout on one of the surrounding mountains, Heather Mountain. Lake Cowichan is home to a large population of elk which are often found in open forests, grassy bench lands or floodplain marshes. Locals in the area are also certain to scan the horizon while they drive, as the massive animals are known to graze casually alongside roads and highways.
- Canvas Prints:
Locally printed on archival quality canvas.
Stretched on sustainably sourced, kiln dried, 1.5” deep stretcher bars which provide a solid profile on the wall.
Museum grade satin varnish has been applied to protect the canvas from curious fingertips, dust and UV damage.
Signed, with hanging hardware attached, this west coast created and inspired treasure is ready to hang in your home.
- Paper Prints:
Locally printed on 100 year certified archival, heavy weight paper.
Signed, dated and packaged between ridged cardboard for safe transportation.
The artist recommends collectors have paper prints professionally framed behind UV protective glass to preserve the prints.
